The Omo Misha Times consists of, not only your forwarded messages, but anything I happen to find entertaining or newsworthy - current events, politics, fashion, humor, my friends, and all the wacky, wonderful, or provocative things I encounter on an ordinary day. Welcome to The Omo Misha Times!!!

There was NO Omo Misha Times in 2010. WOW! You can blame Facebook for that - which allowed me to get my heebie-jeebies out in smaller doses. But, alas, I am a publisher, journalist and author at heart and, while social media provides a quick fix for sharing, I tend to be more long-winded than not. With that said, I have been bursting at the seams - for more than year - so much to say, yet silenced by the magnitude of the year's events...

This past year, we witnessed some of the world's most catastrophic natural and man-made disasters; we re-examined the meanings of HOPE and CHANGE and, this entire country has had to rethink - individually and collectively - how we will thrive in this changing global community. I have, personally, been surrounded by a great deal of loss - immediate family members and a close friend. It has quaked my very existence, causing me to recontextualize life...just about everyday....

So here I am, a whole year passed, finally able to get the words out of my mouth. I hope it is worth the wait :-)

Can I say when the next issue is coming? Certainly not. But, one thing I do know is that we're here and it's now....and I hope you come back on the 15th to ENJOY this long-anticipated issue of The Times.

Friends, from around the world, I look forward to keeping in touch! And, as always - GOOD, BAD or UGLY - I'd love to hear what you think!
