An alternate look at Hurricane Katrina: The Not-So-Natural Disaster?!

Let me preface the following material by reiterating that, I am one who likes to consider all perspectives….especially when it comes to my health, education and - prevalent at this moment - the motivations and actions of the US Government, major corporations, and world leaders at large. The following articles concerning Hurricane Katrina and related issues, were excerpted from emails I have received over the past few weeks. They are not my own words but, again, merely copied from various sources. Wherever possible, I have provided links to the articles, instead of printing the whole thing. I have presented more complete articles than I would have liked to though, as some of them came without links. There is A LOT of reading here. Sorry about that. I will admit, I did a poor job editing this material down. At any rate, I felt I should present as much of it as I could and leave the editing for you to do. _

I advise you to visit all the sites/links provided here, tune into alternative media, and make your own decisions…regarding this particular disaster, disasters of the no-so-distant past, and the fate of all humanity. Although, some concepts may be difficult to grasp, just imagine that nothing is too far-fetched…

…..As our citizens and other countries respond to our needs here on the Gulf Coast, I wanted to say thanks to all who have prayed for us and helped monetarily. 
 
Right now, New Orleans faces George Bush's 5000 paratroopers to invade and force at gun point the total evacuation of New Orleans.  Of course, this makes no since unless they are planning on torching the city. 
 
Below are a list of stories that will help you decipher what is the truth about what happened here.  Gov. Blanco declared a state of emergency on August 26th, as George Bush continues to lie about what happened. 
 
What really happened was FEMA was told to stand down and not do anything until Gov. Blanco signed over her state to George Bush for Federal martial law.  FEMA would not allow any food or water into the city, boats with men and they scrambled the communications.  False stories about gunshots were used as cover for the stand down.  What Gov. Blanco needed was her own National Guard, but they are in Iraq.  She needed help from the Federal govt., but Bush wanted her to put it under federal martial law.   Our constitution, the Posse Comitatus law that states that federal troops cannot be used to patrol Americans.  The situation became so bad in New Orleans, by design, that federal troops had to be used.
 
Many have called Gov. Blanco to thank her for trying to hold out against the president's strong arm tactics….

Broussard: "We have been abandoned by our own country."

From this interview: "Let me give you just three quick examples. We had Wal-Mart deliver three trucks of water, trailer trucks of water. FEMA turned them back. They said we didn't need them. This was a week ago. FEMA--we had 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel on a Coast Guard vessel docked in my parish. The Coast Guard said, "Come get the fuel right away." When we got there with our trucks, they got a word. "FEMA says don't give you the fuel." Yesterday--yesterday--FEMA comes in and cuts all of our emergency communication lines. They cut them without notice. Our sheriff, Harry Lee, goes back in, he reconnects the line. He posts armed guards on our line and says, "No one is getting near these lines."
